11 Nigerian nationals captured in Bangladesh over Facebook trick

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police in Bangladesh has captured 11 Nigerian nationals for their supposed inclusion in a Facebook trick.

Criminal investigators secured the suspects in a few activities directed in various pieces of Dhaka on Wednesday, the DMP said in a media instructions on Thursday, April 21.

The Nigerian arrestees have been recognized as Henri Osita Okechukwu, Chisom Emmanuel Obiajulu, Okeke Peter, Obinna Sunday, Oneka Amba, Chisom Anthonoy Ekwenze, Okeyea Azubike, Anuyarah Ojuyemena Daniel, Anuruka Jinika Francis, Luke and Domado Chinedo.

Their Bangladeshi associate has been distinguished as Chadni Akter, who used to help them as a phony traditions official, disguising her genuine personality.

“The heads of the extortion ring are Osita Okechukwu and Chisom Emmanuel. They used to keep up with correspondence with their Bangladeshi assistants and appropriate the stole cash among different individuals from the posse,” said AKM Hafiz Akter, an extra chief at DMP’s Detective Branch.

Notwithstanding Chadni, a few Bangladeshi residents are engaged with the group, Hafiz said, adding that lawful move has been initiated against the gangsters.

The law authorities have sent off a manhunt to follow out different lawbreakers, he added.
